{{stub}} The ''Shrike''-class light fighter is a single crew, single or multi-engine ship manufactured by Tsong Manufacturing, a Propatulus Union company. Optimized for low mass and high acceleration, its Phaeton integrated power and propulsion system makes it exceptionally quick and nimble. The basic design has evolved over multiple generations making it highly adaptable to different mission roles. It may be configured for reconnaissance, interceptor, light strike and electronic warfare, but it really delivers the most value in the ISTAR role (Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance). The Shrike is very vulnerable to CIWS, its size won't save it from computer aimed turrets so don't loiter close to ships like the Reus or Pegasus. If closing with them use missiles to distract their CIWS while you line up a shot. As of the current build the Shrike's sensors don't have much use unless you are deep in shadow and want to avoid collisions. Otherwise, keep them closed so they can act as extra armour for your reactor and don't get shot off reducing your overall integrity.
